Reading books aloud to children stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills, learn new words and phrases and experience a range of emotions.

Multiple studies have highlighted the benefits reading has on learning potential and child development. As such, teachers and parents are in a great position to ensure reading is a key part of children’s daily routine.

Each Charley’s book subscription comes with 1 or 2 books appropriate for your little one’s age. A reader is included to encourage reading out loud but this reader can also be used later on by your little one, to read on their own. A special book is included to add in some fun. This book may include activities, crosswords, sounds or touch and feel depending on your little one’s age. When 1 book is received, we had fun and excitement including a new release that holds value and volume
